Hyalite Canyon is a 30-45 minute drive from downtown Bozeman, making it one of the most easily accessible backcountry ski locations to town. Hyalite Canyon skiing is located in located in the middle of the Custer Gallatin National Forest with little to no sign of development. The options range from peak ski objectives to powder stashes in the trees and meadows.
