Days 1 & 2

The team will head to Ousel Falls in Big Sky. Here we’ll work on our roped glacier travel techniques, crevasse rescue, as well as enjoy some quality ice climbing. The ice climbing is just a short walk from the car making the access for this day quick and easy.

Days 3 & 4

We travel into the backcountry of Yellowstone National Park. For these two days we will focus on what it’s like to be on the mountain. We’ll learn how to travel with our sleds, continue to practice moving as a rope team, and harness our winter camping skills. Our overnight in the park allows us to learn about our camping kit, staying warm in the cold, and using the snow to our advantage to build a camp that is comfortable.
