Big Sky Group Rock Climb and Instruction

DESCRIPTION:

Get out rock climbing this summer at discounted rates. Sign up alone or with others. All are welcome. Whether you want to learn or just climb this trip allows enough time for both. Our location has beginner to intermediate climbs (5.6-5.10+). Our guides set several ropes and offer feedback, education, and ample climbing to fit all abilities. This open enrollment group climb is designed to connect climbers of all levels and backgrounds in the beautiful setting of the Gallatin Canyon. With ample time and a small group ratio, your professional climbing guide will tailor the instruction and climbs to meet the individual goals and objectives of each participant. 

Participants will meet their guide at the crag conveniently located just 10 minutes from Big Sky town center. From here they will get geared up and walk less than 5 minutes to the climbs. After a safety orientation and quick introduction to climbing, all participants will have the opportunity to experience climbs for all levels ranging from fun to challenging.

PREREQUISITES: No previous experience necessary. Ages 6 and older.

RATIO: Max 6:1 

PRICE: $195 per participant (plus 4% Public Land Use Fee)

WHEN: Every 2nd and 4th Saturday, June-August. Also offering private dates/times

TIME: 8am-2pm (4-6 hours depending on group size)

LOCATION: Gallatin Canyon: Red Cliff Campgrounds (15 minutes to Big Sky)

INCLUDED:

• Personal climbing gear (rock climbing shoes, harness, helmet)
• Group gear (ropes, carabiners, climbing protection, etc.)

• Guide gratuity
• Food, transport
• Technical clothing, backpack, etc.

• Unforeseen expenses from circumstances outside of Montana Alpine Guides’ control
