Cross Country Ski & Snowshoe Tours: Big Sky/Yellowstone National Park

Montana Alpine Guides employs the most experienced ski guides in the Bozeman, Big Sky, and Yellowstone National Park areas. We offer cross country and snowshoe tours in Yellowstone National Park, where you can experience the still solitude of Yellowstone in the winter. Whether you’re a seasoned cross country skier or snowshoer, or a complete beginner hoping to learn, cross country skiing and snowshoeing with MAG is sure to be an incredible experience! Learn local ecology and natural history (and enjoy a low-impact, aerobic activity) as you explore America’s first national park!

All MAG guides are American Avalanche Association PRO members, have Level 2 Avalanche training, medical training, and many have AMGA certifications in addition to years of first-hand experience in our local terrain.

*Prices do not include rental gear (if needed), a $75/guide travel surcharge (Bozeman-YNP)  and a 4% Public Land Use Fee. Rental equipment can be found in Bozeman and Big Sky.
Location: Yellowstone National Park northwest entrance (Big Sky area). All ski trips near the Yellowstone National Park northeast entrance (Gardiner/Cooke City) will be billed as custom trips due to long drive times and lodging requirements.
